Hi! I’m Melissa.

I’m an educator & designer doing my post graduate studies at UBC’s Master’s of Ed.Tech program. I live a pretty slow life out in the Japanese countryside with a marshmallow aesthetics Shiba Inu named Wolf. My work mainly entails EFL learning in digital spaces, though I also dabble in random hobbies.

Case Study

A pilot program to build research skills, digital fluency, and academic presentation confidence with Japanese Grade 1 & 2 SHS students.

Adapting commonsense.org’s digital literacy curriculum.

Experiments and creations in Anthropic’s Claude to test ideas and build tools for the explicit use of EFL learning.
